My My My How Time Flies When You're havin Fun!

Oh Mylanta! My blog! How I have neglected you!!! It's not you, it's me. Times have been busy/fun/crazy/completely awesome!

Well, how does one tell of all the exciting happenings of a month in one blog post without throwing you all in to a complete story/picture over load? And more importantly where do I even begin??

Ryder. Everything begins and ends with Ryder as he is my everything. He is grow-grow-growing like you would not believe! We had a very fun Easter this year. The Easter bunny made sure to shower Ryder with more candy than he could ever possibly eat (luckily he has an awesome mom who was quick to help'em out!)

Saturday morning before Easter we went to our ward Easter party. Ryder made bunny ears, a necklace, had an egg hunt on the lawn at the temple grounds and even got to meet THE EASTER BUNNY!!! This was a pretty big deal. He talked about meeting the Easter bunny until...wait....he still talks about how he met the Easter bunny. Ryder followed him around everywhere and thankfully didnt notice the bare neck and Nike shoes peaking out from under his fur.

Sunday morning Ryder woke up bright eyed and bushy tailed excited to see what awesomeness the Easter bunny left behind. And...the Easter Bunny didn't disappoint. All in all Good times!

In addition to all kinds of Easter fun Ryder got a new pet! Several weeks ago for FHE Ryder and I went out on our nightly run. As we ran we talked all about God's creations, the plants, the animals, everything. We stopped and looked closely at the bright beautiful flowers. part way through our run we stopped in at PetCo to check out the birds and fish. Ryder got to pick out a fish of his very own to take home and care for.

Mommy: "Ryder what would you like to name your fish?"

Ryder: "hmmm" deep in thought tapping his pointer finger to his lip "CRACKY!"

Mommy: "You want to name your fish Cracky?"

Ryder: "Yes! Cracky!"

So folks... we now have a fish named Cracky! Who I am quite proud to say, despite the bad rap gold fish have for their very short life expectancy, Cracky, a month later, is still alive and well, thriving in a small fish bowl in my living room!

As for me...well, I am having a lot of fun! I've been spending my time playing at Great America, checkin out the Mystery Spot and frolicking in the sand in Santa Cruz, Shot gun shooting (checked that off my years bucket list!), causin trouble at an awesome airshow, out clubbin till all hours of the night, catching up with old but good friends at Kendra's baby shower, taking fun bike rides down the trail and lots of fun stuff!

Life is good. Ryder and I couldn't be happier.

A little eye candy...

My Favorite Lullaby

Ryder loves it when I sing him this song at night while I rub his back. Thought I'd share a beautiful song...
"Godspeed (Sweet Dreams)"
***
Dragon tales and the "water is wide"
Pirate's sail and lost boys fly
Fish bite moonbeams every night
And I love you
Godspeed, little man
Sweet dreams, little man
Oh my love will fly to you each night on angels wings
Godspeed
Sweet dreams
***
The rocket racer's all tuckered out
Superman's in pajamas on the couch
Goodnight moon, will find the mouse
And I love you
Godspeed, little man
Sweet dreams, little man
Oh my love will fly to you each night on angels wings
Godspeed
Sweet dreams
***
God bless mommy and match box cars
God bless dad and thanks for the stars
God hears "Amen," wherever we are
And I love you
Godspeed, little man
Sweet dreams, little man
Oh my love will fly to you each night on angels wings
***
Godspeed
Godspeed
Godspeed
Sweet dreams
